The hero of The Fifth Element was supposed to have another job

The Fifth Element is a feature film whose script was modified after reading a comic book by Jean-Claude Mézières. Originally, the hero named Zaltman Bléros was employed in a rocket assembly plant. Luc Besson decided to transform him into a flying taxi driver named Korben Dallas after the publication of the album The Circles of Power in 1994.
