A forty-eight-hour express railway construction site

The lightning construction site of the Val d'Or station mobilized approximately 200 SNCF workers in January 2013. This intensive operation allowed the work to be completed in a record time of forty-eight hours. The intervention consisted precisely of replacing three switches as well as 850 m of track, with a complete renewal of the ballast.
