The design secret of the Vasa's sister ship

The Vasa was the first of a series of large ships wanted by King Gustavus Adolphus for the Swedish navy. Its sister ship, the Äpplet, was built at exactly the same period. The only difference between these two royal vessels lay in the fact that the Äpplet was 1.5 m wider.
