The descent into hell of Achille Varzi's companion

Ilse Hubach, the companion of Achille Varzi, attempted to end her life in Berlin in March 1939. Separated from the racing driver at the request of the Italian authorities and finding herself without a passport, she had just crossed paths by chance with the driver Hans Stuck in a hotel to ask him for financial help. Found in the street in a nightgown and whispering the name Achille, she finally managed to overcome her addiction alongside her friends.
