A poem published twenty-seven years after its author's death

Ode on Indolence is one of the major poems by the British Romantic poet John Keats. Composed in 1819 during a difficult period in terms of material circumstances, this text experienced a very particular editorial fate. Unlike the other odes published as early as 1820, it only appeared posthumously in 1848, which is twenty-seven years after the writer's passing.
