WhatsApp is an instant messaging application allowing users to send messages and make calls using the internet. Since 2017, the platform has included an option to delete posts sent by mistake for all participants. Security consultant Shitesh Sachan however discovered in 2019 that this removal feature remained random on iOS without alerting the development teams.
