Thirteen thousand Native Americans took up arms for England

Thirteen thousand warriors from Native American nations fought alongside the British during the conflict. The tribes mainly opposed the United States to protect their territories threatened by American expansionism. Among these forces, the Iroquois Confederacy alone provided 1,500 combatants.
