Liechtenstein has no national league

Liechtenstein, ranked 44th in the UEFA coefficient, does not have a national championship. Consequently, it is the only country among the 55 associations unable to send its best club according to this criterion. This geographical and sporting peculiarity is explicitly mentioned in the 2026-2027 Champions League regulations.
