Terence Hill is an actor who possessed a voice that was too soft and not energetic enough for the characters he played. Italian productions therefore decided to have his voice dubbed by actors such as Sergio Graziani for the film by Giuseppe Colizzi or Pino Locchi. This habit lasted for decades, until he post-synchronized his own voice starting in the 2000s in the series Don Matteo.
